One of the most important words in the thoughts of the social welfare corporation Sugiwakai is, "I had a great day today." This may seem simple at first glance, but it is very difficult to achieve.
In order to realize the hopes and dreams of residents and users, it is important to build a relationship of trust through daily communication that includes their families. I think it is important for each staff member to think about what they need to do and put it into practice in order to establish that relationship of trust. In concrete terms, as the chairman of the board, I will endeavor to disseminate and collect information so that each staff member can work hard with a sense of fulfillment and improve their skills.
As a corporation that has been making an effort to contribute to the local community, we would like to work harder than ever to provide peace of mind to family caregivers by having two staff members who are certified as Gifu Prefecture Dementia Care Instructors spread information about understanding and responding to dementia. We will continue to be a corporation that is close to the community.

July 7: The establishment of the social welfare corporation "Sugiwakai" is approved by the Gifu Prefecture Governor.
1998
May 5th: Completion ceremony for the main building of the special nursing home for the elderly "Yu-Yu-Mura"
May 5: Special nursing home for the elderly "Yu-Yu-Mura" main building operations begin
May 5st: Day service center "Erika no Sato" begins operations at the main building of "Yu-Yu-Mura"
